Excellent Thesis Award Form

The Malaysian Natural Products Society (MNPS) is proud to present the Excellent Thesis Award 2025. The awards will be given annually for Ph.D. thesis and Master’s thesis in the field of natural products science.

The recipients will receive a cash award of RM500 and a certificate of recognition.

To be eligible for the award, the nominated students must have completed their masters or Ph.D. degree in 2025 in the natural products science, and must be an active member of the MNPS (at least for 2 years).

Please ensure that all supporting evidence is included together with the application.

The award winners will be decided by a committee chaired by the President of the Malaysian Natural Products Society.

In the event of false claims or information given, the organizer reserves the right to withdraw the awards.

The award will be presented at ICNP2026.

MNPS offers Travel Grant Awards for attending International Conference on Natural Products 2026 (ICNP2026)

• Must be an active MNPS member (at least for 2 years), contribute to and support the MNPS activities.
• Graduate students conducting natural products research.
• The abstract has been accepted by ICNP2026 organizer as an oral presenter.
• The recipients will receive maximum RM1000/award.
• The award winners will be decided by a committee chaired by the MNPS President.

MALAYSIAN NATURAL PRODUCTS SOCIETY
MNPS BEST PAPER AWARD 2026

• Papers published in international reputable journals from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
• Open to all career levels.
• Must be an active MNPS member (at least for 2 years), contribute to and support the MNPS activities.
• Application from either first or correspondence author.
• The recipient will receive a cash award of RM750 and a certificate of recognition.
• In the event of false claims or information given, the organizer reserves the right to withdraw the awards.

• The award will be presented at ICNP2026.

The papers will be selected by the Journal Award Committee according to the following criteria:

• Report significant and impactful findings in studies of natural products.
• Originality of the research objectives and/or the ideas presented.
• Scientif merit and broad impact
• Creativity of the study design and uniqueness of the approaches and concepts
• Clarity of presentation
